The goal was to redesign two classic book covers. 1984 & Brave New World are two of my favorite books. They are classics, profound, and will always be relevant.
I created a custom typeface for these cover designs that integrates naturally into the illustration style.
While redesigning these covers I learned to have fun with illustration and designing outside of my comfort zone. This is one of my favorite pieces of design work to date.
